what was your favorite class while abroad, and why?
Wrongful Convictions! It is directly connected to my post-graduate plans (attending law school) and prepared me for future studies. I also was able to connect with a very successful professor who was passionate and willing to assist us in our future. My professor gave me advice, helped me narrow down what kind of law I want to practice, and connected me with potential internships!
how did you engage with the local community while abroad?
In London, I made conversations with locals at pubs, on the Tube, and during my walk to class! I also connected to the community by immersing myself in the London culture and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I also engaged in "local activities" and went to a local comedy club, cafes, and venues!
